I will miss Dave:
-his no nonsense approach and ability to voice what others were thinking but unwilling to say
-his persistent desire to get the right outcome even when out numbered
-his enthusiasm for science, technology and pushing the boundaries
-his pride and love for his family which shone through given half a chance in the busyness
-his positive impact in developing and encouraging colleagues with his pithy sayings and anecdotes
-his willingness not to take things too seriously (including himself)
